Objective

We probably recognized the top 30 wealthiest nations, but most of us never really spent time knowing what the factors could be to push an economy forward. My goal was to bridge the significant factors that influence economic growth with the top 30 wealthiest countries in 2015, offering a holistic view of the strong economies where the citizens of the nations have more purchasing power than others.

Discovering the story

  • How do you measure a country's economy?
  • Why use the gross domestic product (GDP) based on purchasing power parity (PPP) per capita to measure an economy?
  • What did it take to make them a prosperous country?
  • How were the most prosperous countries mainly distributed?
  • How did the economy change over the past few years?
  • How significant were the gaps between the rich and the low-income group among them?
