Fit.ly is a mobile app that helps curate body measurements and apparel you wear in different brands. It enables users to find their right size fit when shopping online or in-store. Never have to struggle with remembering those details again.
There were lots of moments when I went online shopping I struggled with finding the right size. The main problem is that every store has slight differences: I may be a Small in one store, but a Medium in another. I could hardly keep track. Online shopping has become an arduous and time-consuming process, and it doesn't stop there. When I shopped in stores, I encountered the same problem as I was choosing the right size to try on. I could neither remember the pants' length nor the width.
I found this also to be a problem when it comes to getting gifts for friends or family. I could subtly ask them in passing as we were chatting, but unfortunately, I could never remember those details when the next gift-giving season rolled around. From there, Fit.ly was discovered. Imagine if there was a place where I could record body measurements and sizes on what we wear in different brands; access it at any time. It would save us all this hassle.
Product Design, UI/UX, Conceptualization
When shopping online or in-store for clothing/accessories, I want to lessen shoppers' hesitation in getting the right size fit on what they want so that they can save more time on their purchases.
How might we make it easier for users to recall their body measurements and the purchased clothing sizes so they can discover the perfect fit and spend less time shopping online or in-store next time?
This is an ongoing project from seeding the ideas and synthesizing research findings, to what I have prototyped @Framer and built. I will be sharing more insights here if you are interested.
